You have been contacted by a customer that needs assistance with developing a safety performance measurement program. The customer is a medium-sized, multi-national company, with one manufacturing facility in Great Britain and one in the United States. The company manufactures seats and related equipment for rotorcraft. The company has 129 employees in the United States and 88 employees in Great Britain. Your contact is the corporate safety director.
For this assignment, formulate a plan that can be used by the manufacturing company to measure safety performance within the organization, which includes both manufacturing facilities. The plan you formulate should be directed to your contact, the safety director. Also, provide a justification for your plan to the customer. Submit your response in APA format. Your plan and justification should not be longer than 5 pages.
