Paper instructions:
Use Isbister’s two promises of development (internal and external) and the two theories of development (dependency and modernization) along with your own critical point of view to answer the following question: Why should people in rich or developed countries take on the responsibility of being helpful to the world’s poor or underdeveloped countries. What are some of the current problems with how the two groups interact (look at the UN, World Bank, Circular Trap)?
