Task: Choose one of the children’s books from Appendix D. Develop an activity to correspond with the children’s book. Read the book and complete the activity with a child or small group of children.

Report: Write a paper (minimum of 500 words) including the title of your children’s book and copy of activity plan which includes the objective, materials, and procedure. Describe the setting, be specific, place, time, people in observation? Describe the children: age, sex, etc. What was the child’s reaction to the activity? What were the positive components of the activity? What changes would you make to improve the activity? Do not just answer the questions; use them as a guide to writing your paper.
